Building the Future of Cleaning Business Management

Introduction

Today marks an exciting milestone for our team as we officially begin developing Vertex Commercial, an all-in-one business management platform designed exclusively for cleaning companies.

Over the past several months, we've been researching the industry, speaking with business owners, analysing operational challenges, and identifying the areas where technology can make the greatest impact. Those conversations confirmed something we believed from the very beginning: cleaning businesses deserve software built specifically for the way they work.

This first journal entry marks the beginning of our product journey. Over the coming months, we'll share regular development updates, introduce new features, and provide a behind-the-scenes look at how Vertex Commercial is taking shape.

Why We're Building Vertex Commercial

Running a cleaning business is far more complex than it may appear from the outside.

Every day, business owners coordinate employee schedules, manage customer relationships, organise recurring services, monitor job quality, prepare invoices, communicate with field teams, and make dozens of operational decisions that keep the business moving.

Many companies still rely on spreadsheets, messaging apps, calendars, and several disconnected software solutions to manage these responsibilities. While each tool solves one specific task, together they often create unnecessary complexity, duplicate work, and increase the amount of time spent on administration.

We believe technology should simplify operations—not add more systems to manage.

Understanding the Industry

Before writing a single line of code, we wanted to understand the real challenges cleaning companies face every day.

Our research focused on operational workflows rather than technology itself. We looked at how businesses schedule appointments, assign employees, communicate with clients, manage recurring services, track inspections, and monitor business performance.

One thing became immediately clear. Most software available today wasn't designed specifically for the cleaning industry. Instead, businesses adapt general-purpose CRM platforms, project management tools, and accounting software to fit their needs.

Our goal is to reverse that approach by creating software designed around the industry's existing workflows.

What We're Building

Vertex Commercial is being developed as one connected platform that brings together every essential part of running a cleaning business.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Scheduling & Route Planning
  • Employee Management
  • Quality Inspections
  • Invoicing & Financial Management
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Smart Automation
  • AI-powered Business Assistant

Instead of switching between multiple applications throughout the day, business owners will be able to manage their entire operation from one central platform.

Our Vision

Technology should work quietly in the background, helping businesses operate more efficiently without making everyday tasks more complicated.

That philosophy is guiding every decision we make during development.

Rather than creating software packed with unnecessary features, we're focused on building a platform that is intuitive, reliable, and designed around the real needs of cleaning companies.

Our ambition is simple: help business owners spend less time managing processes and more time growing their companies.

Looking Ahead

Development is officially underway, and our team has already started building the platform's core architecture.

Our first major milestone will be the release of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) on July 1, 2026. This version will introduce the platform's core functionality and allow early users to experience Vertex Commercial for the first time.

Every milestone from this point forward will be documented here in our Product Journal.

We're excited to share the journey with you.

Key highlights

  • Development of Vertex Commercial has officially begun.
